The Plot

Dark clouds of melancholy descend upon the Cowz community following a rumour that begins to spread through the valley by way of the Fox. Allegedly, a declaration of doom has been pronounced on the COWZ made by a leader in a distant land known by the name of the Puppet. The rumour is that COWZ have been found guilty of participating in the downfall of utopia. The news devastates the community bringing fear and confusion. As far back as ancestral memory exists, life has been idyllic and harmonious high in the Alps for the COWZ. The onset of the crisis calls for Bambi to step forward and carry the burden of responsibility and leadership. Yet, as bold and capable as she is, Bambi feels increasingly paralysed by her private inner world of thoughts and feelings.

Bambi has to find a way for herself and as well as help the community face up to the implications of the Declaration of Doom. Each member of COWZ community reacts differently, but Bambi realises that only way forward is by first confronting the realities and reaching a place of honesty personally and as a community. But this proves complicated, since whose version of reality do they believe? Can the Fox be trusted? Who is the Puppet? Episode H tells the story of how Bambi and the COWZ overcome the challenge of finding clarity amidst the confusion and fear.

The mood is slowly improving.
With most of the struggles over to in reaching a place of honesty and consensus about their condition, wisdom begins to prevail in what remain dark times. The resistance movement is created but they need to find the strength and conviction to rise to the challenges ahead. The group and its leaders meet again at the Pine Circle and start to Envision the kind of future they believe is worth fighting for.

With the intelligence gathered from the COWZ recon mission along with the data and research, the leaders of the community begin mapping and testing different Pathways forward. What emerges is a series of actionable steps that will enable the vision to become a reality. That is unless unexpected challenges do not get in the way.

The extinction of the COWZ hangs in the balance and with time running out the community must find a way to overcome their grief and losses in their battle for survival. They face a rubicon moment where there is no turning back. But first the COWZ must combat their fear and self-doubt, and find faith to forge ahead.

Part One of cowZstory consists of six episodes each represented by a series of icono-graphic art works that visualises the existential mood of the cowZ community at each stage of the drama.
